He was predeceased by: his parents, Kelly Hall and Iris Mae Smalley; and his brother Frederick Charles Andrews. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Smalley of Knightdale, NC; his children, Sharon Carter of Augusta, Denise Edwards (Neil) of Jacksonville, Lisa Smalley of Knightdale, NC and Derryl Smalley (Tunesia) of Douglasville, GA; his sister Doris Brown of Augusta; and his siblings-in-law, Clarence Rogers (Loretta), Theodore Rogers (Annie) and Theodora McCullers. He is also survived by three grandchildren, two bonus grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
