She was predeceased by: her parents, John Blount Rouse and Nannie Gladson Rouse; her husband Johnnie Allen Edwards; her son J. Tom Edwards; and her siblings, Robert Rudolph Rouse, John B. Rouse Jr., George B. Rouse, Joseph L. Rouse, Mary R. Harper and Rebecca R. Windham.
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Edwards Ennis (Perry) of Greenville; her daughter-in-law Tammy Huggins Edwards of Winterville; her grandchildren, Amanda Ennis Brewington (Bradley) of Greenville, Joshua L. Ennis (Elizabeth) of Greenville, Jonathan M. Edwards of Winston-Salem and Katherine Edwards Lee (Albert) of Laurinburg, NC; her great grandchildren, Brayden, Benjamin Brewington of Greenville and Charlotte Ennis of Greenville; and her caregivers, Lisa Person, Maola Smith and Leslie Parker Thompson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
