She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Prevette Duncan and Ann Hartley Duncan of North Wilkesboro, NC.. She is survived by: her children, Isaac "Ike" Johnston (Mary Helen) of Greenville, NC and Brenna Duke (JJ) of Flagstaff, AZ; her sisters, Malinda Mori (Jason) of Alexandria, VA, Annette Battle (late John) of North Wilkesboro, NC and Susie Triplett (Tony) of Wilkesboro, NC; and her close friend Debbie Mansfield (Bill) of Garland, TX. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and cherished friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her name to Vidant Health Cancer Center or Wake Forest Baptist Cancer Center.
