She is survived by: her husband Jeff Wingate; her son Joseph Horne; her parents, Anna Sue McLawhorn Best (Tad) of Greenville and Allen Witherington (Penny) of Cape Carteret; her stepchildren, James Horne, Mary Harris (Mike) of Ayden and Shannon Wilkinson of Ayden; and her stepsiblings, Kim Jones (Albert) of Kinston, Dotti Brightman (Rob) of Milton, FL, Hope Clark (OJ) of Greenville and Ashley Witherington (Ashley) of Lynchburg, VA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
