She was predeceased by: her parents, James Quinton and Margie Dean Brooks Langley; her husband Howard Edward Pittman, Jr.; her brother George Allen Langley; and her grandparents, Edmond, Neta Griffin Brooks, Thomas Pollard and Allie Pilgreen Langley of Virginia.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Hope Taylor (Randy Earl) of Pikeville, NC and Jennifer Laura Pittman of Tarboro, NC; her grandchildren, Kassidy Grace Taylor and Isaac James Edward Adams; her siblings, James Dean Langley (Diann Estelle Coggins) of Aurora and Lou Frances L. Summerville (James Ronnie) of Carrollton Ala; and her sisters-in-law, Virginia Carolyn P. Bunting (Herbert Earl) of Newport, NC and Cherel Darlene Heath Pittman of Grifton, NC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
