She was predeceased by: her husband Zeb Burnice Smith; her parents, Herbert Turner and Winnie Wilson Tripp; and her brothers, Robert, Jim and Fred Tripp.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Smith (Kristy) of Grimesland, Donnie G. Smith (Peggy) of Farmville, Brenda S. Grohman of Columbia, SC and Vicky S. Yakim (Andy) of Belhaven; her grandchildren, Robert, Julie, Christian, Jonathan Grohman, Matthew, Caroline and Sydney Smith; and her great grandchildren, Brayden Grohman, Jennings Owens and Baylee Owens.
