She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gus Jones and Mary Buck Jones; her son Curtis Wayne Garris; and her brothers, John Gus Jones, Jr., George Thomas Jones, David Earl Jones, James Stanley Jones and William "Bill" Wayne Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Allen Garris (Susan) of Jacksonville, FL, Sue Garris Lewis, Sara Garris Brooks, Anthony Garris and Marijean; her grandchildren, Mitchel, Lynn, Joseph, Ben Garris, Michael Lewis, Bridget and John Brooks; her great grandchildren, Sterling Garris, Caitlyn Brooks, Dillon and Baylei Lewis; her siblings, Evelyn Horn of Tallahassee, FL and Doug Jones (Amy) of Santee, CA; and her sister-in-law Faye Jones. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.
