It is with great sadness that we announce the death of McDonald Bland (Greenville, North Carolina), who passed away on August 14, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raleigh H. Bland and Pherabe Bland; his wife Vivian W. Bland of Weston, WV.; and his siblings, McRay Bland, Martha Alcorn and Vilma Templeton.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Steven Bland (Eileen) of Richmond, VA and Janet R. Bland of Vanceboro, NC.; his grandchildren, James Webb (Maria), Heather Murdock (Bobby) and Grace Bland; and his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Ayva and Bryson Murdock.
