With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mathew Dennis Ainsworth of Greenville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 11, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ainsworth and Ruby Ainsworth; and his brothers, Kenneth Ainsworth and Carey Quick. He is survived by: his wife Linda Ainsworth; his children, Demetra Abbey (Brent) of Graham, Cindy Ainsworth-Jackson of Bennettsville, SC, Glenn Griggs of Cheraw, SC and Rhonda Hardee (Alton) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Blake O'Donnell (Tyler) of Des Moines, IA, Christopher Alexander Jackson (Ashley) of Whitsett, NC, Matthew David Abbey of Graham, NC, Will Buck of Greenville, NC, Kaitlyn Garcia of Greenville, NC and Jacob Stokes of Greenville, NC; and his brother William Thomas Ainsworth (Cindy) of Bennettsville, SC. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
