She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Buddy Spell and Gertrude Foskey Spell; her siblings, Milton Lee Spell, Virginia Ann Baker and Debra Barrett; her sister-in-law Earlene K. Spell; and her grandson Kwmaine "Shaun" Thompson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Shirley Barrett, William Spell (Valerie), Mitchell Foskey and James Spell (Sharon) of Greenville, NC; her daughters, Keya Thompson and Kristy Spell; and her niece Felicia Henderson (Henry). She is also survived by two aunts, four grandkids; nine great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
