It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lou Monroe in Greenville, North Carolina, born in Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away on June 27, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Franklin and Alice Lucile Barham; and her husband Leonard Myrick Monroe.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Salem United Methodist Church, 785 McDonald St., Simpson, NC 27879.
