He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harley Travis and Judith Blackman Caton; his wife Deborah Heath Caton; his children, Nicholas Heath Caton of Grimesland, Blake Allen Caton of Jacksonville, NC and Mary Alexis Caton Gerlach (Michael) of New Bern; his stepson Jeremy Scott (Justyn) of Winterville; his stepgranddaughter Lily Grace Scott; his brothers, Harley Caton (Cotina) of Washington, Phillip Caton (Judy) of Stokes and John Caton of Stokes; his parents-in-law, Richard and Dora Glisson; his niece Casey Taylor; and his friends, Joseph Myers and Judy Bernhardt. He was also cherished by numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.
