She is survived by: her children, Steve Smart (Carla) of Wilson and Susan Stafford Wingate of Greenville; her grandchildren, Kyle Smart (Danielle) of Charlotte, Meredith Gubernard (John) of Greenville, Daniel Smart of Greenville, Laura Stroud (Coty) of Kinston and Will Stafford of Greenville; her great grandchildren, Ada Stroud and Austen Smart; her sister Rosie Lee Johnson of Lillington; and her close friend Paul Damron. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
