She was predeceased by: her husband Jamie Gray Stokes of Jamie's Furniture; her parents, James Wainright and Lela Wainright; and her siblings, Betty Jean Smith, Brenda Davis, Judy Harrell, Carolyn Wainright, James Bud'Wainright and Kenneth Wainright.
She is survived by: her daughter Hilda McGlohon (Paul); her grandchildren, Bryant Beddard (Katie) and Melisa White (Bradley); her great grandchildren, Anna Kate, Corban Beddard, Jackson, Abby Piner and Emma White; and her sisters, Jeanette Reason and Rachel Stocks. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Free Will Baptist Church (2426 S Charles Blvd, Greenville, NC 27858). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
