We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2023, at the age of 89, Mamie Doris Harris Nicholson of Greenville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her children, Dalton C. Nicholson (Denise) of Windsor, NC, Annie Watts (Charles) of Winterville, NC and Jacqueline Nicholson of Greenville, NC; and her siblings, James Harris (Charlotte) of Ayden, NC, Earl Harris (Patricia) of Florida, Louise Simmons (Randolph) of New Bern, NC, Doretha Koonce of New York and Queen Esther Nicholson (Dennis) of Virginia. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
