She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles A. Hill and Marguerite Williamson Hill; her husband Roy "Buddy" Smith; and her daughter Catherine Hunter Davis. She is survived by: her son Patrick Hunter (Rita); her grandchildren, Mason, Sydney, Susannah Spratt and Taylor Spratt; and her siblings, Doug Hill (Christie) and Jane Edwards (Scott).
