She is survived by: her children, Vivian Spencer, Cathy Spencer, Lisa Spencer, Sharon Spencer, Danny Spencer, Larry Spencer and Charles Spencer (Elizabeth); her siblings, Bessie Vines of Greenville, NC, Iciline Woolard of Greenville, NC, Gloria Smith of Greenville, NC, Sudie Smith of Greenville, NC, Delores Mobley of Waterbury, Connecticut and Larry Smith (Peggy) of Ayden, NC; her sisters-in-law, Leatha Powell of Richmond, VA, Daisy Porter of Greenville, NC and Patricia Smith of Waterbury; and her friend Jerome Wilson. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Selvia Chapel FWB Church (400 Watauga Ave, Greenville, NC 27817). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
