She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse F. Baker and Nancy Mooring Baker; her husband Joe E. Joyner, Jr.; and her siblings, Jesse Baker, Jr. (Junior), James Baker, J. F. Baker, Lindsay Baker and Mildred Mayo.
She is survived by: her daughters, Katherine Joyner Ferrell (Glenn) of Greenville, Patty Joyner Mercer (Ned) of Jacksonville and Penelope Joyner Hamby (Dale) of Hickory; her grandchildren, Dustin Ferrell (Ginger), Jordan Murray (Kevin), Carly Jacobs (Joe), Ben Hamby and Joseph Hamby; her great grandchildren, Jessi Ferrell, Anna Ferrell, Joshua Ferrell, Maddox Murray, Reagan Jacobs, Presley Murray and Gunner Jacobs; and her siblings-in-law, Max Ray Joyner, Sr., Linda Baker and Carrie Joyner. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
