She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Gray and Dora Gray; her husband James Henry "Buck" Avery; her grandson James Todd Avery; and her daughter-in-law Brenda Jean Mills Avery.
She is survived by: her son Rev. James Thomas Avery (Linda) of Pinetops; and her grandchildren, Christopher Thomas Avery (Stephanie), Henry Shane Avery (Donna), Misty Lorraine Avery and Bryan Webb (Tara). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
