With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lewellyn Keyes Jr. of Greenville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2025 at the age of 76. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Lewellyn leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Lewellyn may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewellyn Keyes Sr. and Addie James Keyes. He is survived by: his wife Alberta Jones Keyes. He is also survived by his children and other loving relatives and friends.

Viewing was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:50 AM at the Reimage Church (3950 Victory Ln, Winterville, NC 28590). A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (164 Longs Plant Farm Rd, Goldsboro, NC 27534).
