We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2024, at the age of 84, Leah Gibbs of Greenville, North Carolina, born in Beaufort, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Leah is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Leah's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Lee and Ruby Jennette Williams; and her husband Ray Mitchell Gibbs. She is survived by: her son Mitchell Wayne Gibbs (Vanessa) of Greenville; her granddaughter Mackenzie Ray Gibbs; her brother Lloyd Lee Williams, Jr. (Gloria) of Scranton; her nephews, Lloyd Lee Williams III of Scranton and Quinton Vick of Greenville; and her niece Trisha W. Ricks (Chance) of Blounts Creek.
