He is survived by: his children, Talaya Biggs of Williamston, NC, Tamica Goethe, Dominique Smith, Dallas Smith of Bridgeport, CT, Karnell Lawrence of Charlotte, NC and William Dorsey of Lurverne, AL; his brothers, William Lawrence (Gloria), Kenneth Lawrence (Angela) of Williamston, NC, David Lawrence (Yvonne) of Bridgeport, CT and Ernest Lawrence of Kilen, TX; and his close friend Pearl Rankins. He is also survived by twenty one nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
