He was predeceased by: his parents, Laban DeWitt Thomas Sr. and Gertrude Mildred Thomas; and his sisters, Priscilla Coley and Sheila Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Linda Coltrain Thomas; his son Witt Thomas; his grandchildren, Brice and Brock; his children, Justin Thomas, Hunter, Abby, Emily, Elizabeth T. Newton, Lindsey and Cole; and his sisters, Carolyn Ford (Kim), Kathy Thomas (Dean) and Terry McCrimmon. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
