He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Boyd and Fronie Adams Boyd. He is survived by: his wife Evonne Keeter Boyd; his children, Tony Boyd (Vicky) and Christy Radcliff (Todd) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Katie Fogle (Kenny), Taylor McGrath (Kempton), Caroline Boyd, Emily Boyd, Carson Radcliff and Porter Radcliff; and his great grandchildren, Owen Fogle and Garland McGrath. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
