He was predeceased by: his sister Geraldine Hartley. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Waters Hartley; his children, Linda Coursen, David Hartley (Lisa) of Washington, Sidney Woolard (Regina) of Greenville and Sharon Smith (Richie) of Greenville; and his siblings, Junior, Charles, Terry Hartley, Ruth Lupton and Diane Martin. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
