With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph B. Swain (Greenville, North Carolina), born in Beaufort, North Carolina, who passed away on February 25, 2019 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward Swain and Lena Leggett Swain; his siblings, Roy Swain, John Swain, Avalon Swain, Junior Ray Swain, James Swain, Linwood "Bud" Swain, Vernon Swain, Hattie Byrne, Lillian Garris and Kitty Kolacz; and his brother-in-law Dennis Woolard, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Frances Swain; his son Blount Swain (Mary Jo) of Scottsdale, AZ; his brother-in-law Bill (Kathy Woolard) of Atlantic Beach; and also Anita Williams. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
