He was predeceased by: his parents, William Emmett and Mary Moore Ratcliffe; and his sister Annette Haithcock (John). He is survived by: his wife Lona Presser Ratcliffe; his brother Bill (Patricia) of Gibsonville, NC; his daughters, Robin R. Atkins (Chris) of Winston-Salem, NC and Melissa R. Burrell (Missy) of Raleigh, NC.; his grandchildren, Meredith, Will Atkins, Madyson (Mady) and Andrew Burrell; his nieces and nephews, Leanna R. Jones, Kevin, Brandon Ratcliffe, Lynn H. Beverly, Marilee H. Star, Chris Presser, Jessica P. Whisner, Shay, Kelly Dixon, Emily Lee Becher, Gina Mandros and Michael Joseph Brickhouse; and his daughter Missy.
