He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Green and Elizabeth Ferguson Green; his daughter Janet Lynn Wells; his grandson Wesley Wells; and his brothers, Harold, Donald, Kenneth and Marvin Green, Jr. (Johnny).
He is survived by: his son Johnny Green, Jr. (Sherri) of Waynesville; his close friend Shirley Oglesby; his grandsons, Charles Wells, John Carl Spiron, James, Luke and Logan Green; and his sisters-in-law, Ruth and Kathleen Green. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
