He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly Buchanan; and his brothers, Billy and James Buchanan. He is survived by: his children, Ashley Terrell (Donny), Junah, Lael, Gwyn, DJ of Lillington and Britt Buchanan (Ramona); his grandchildren, Solomon, Obidiah, Esther and Priscilla of Winterville; and his siblings, Nell Neal, Linda Revill and Ross Buchanan (Sherri Clark). He is also survived by Opa by his grandchildren and many more children.
