With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan E. Evans (Greenville, North Carolina), born in Beaufort, North Carolina, who passed away on December 30, 2022 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raleigh Billy Edwards and Joyce Edwards; and her sister Gail Edwards. She is survived by: her husband James Edward Evans; her children, Emily Evans Jenkins and James "Isaac" Evans; her son-in-law William "Brad" Jenkins; and her great grandchild Kai Beasley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joan's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601, a charity that is close to the family's heart.
