He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Mooring and Van Mooring; his son Johnny Ray Holloway; his siblings, Elizabeth, Lula Mae, Thelma, Ann, John Jr., James Henry, Frank, Willie, William, David, Joseph, Charles and Van, Jr.; his wife Reverend Bertha Mooring; his children, Marcel Blakely, Martisha Allen, Darice Daniels (William), Janice Mooring, Lucenda Cherry (Joseph), Linda Daniels (Jordan) and Melvin Daniels (Yvette); his grandchildren, Crystal Gorham, Jarental Daniels, Latrarion Daniels, Myainya Daniels and Tyheem Daniels; his siblings, Margaret Shaw, Emma Jean Cooper, Lee Ray Mooring, Milton Mooring and Ray Hopkins; and his close friends, Trustee Eddie Pettway and Deacon Ernest Peterson.
