He is survived by: his wife Ondra Shirley Braxton; his daughters, Tonya Rogers (Ricky) of Greenville and Tammy Pollard (Bobby) of Fountain; his siblings, Frances Mitchell of Greenville, George Braxton, Ronnie Braxton, Skinner Braxton of Bell Arthur and Wesley Ray Braxton of Hampton, VA; his grandchildren, Savannah Pollard, Brittany Rogers and Danielle Rogers; his great grandchildren, Asher Cobb and Jessica Rogers; and his niece Peggy Haddock. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
