She was predeceased by: her mother Louise House; and her brother Lester House. She is survived by: her husband Ronald "Ronnie" Hill; her children, Martha H. Johns (Eric) of Raleigh and Michael D. Hill (Stephanie) of Greenville; her grandchildren, Joshua, Philip, Jeremiah and Elizabeth Johns of Raleigh; her sister-in-law Vickie T. House of Greenville; and her foster siblings, Rae Gaskins (Mac) of Greenville and Bennie Harris (Jamie) of Austin, TX.
