She was predeceased by: her father Robert Garrett, Jr.; and her grandparents, Amos and Myrtle Averett. She is survived by: her close friend Wayne Edge; her children, Brandon Roach (Brittany), Corey Roach (Samantha), Rodney Beamon, Jr., Eliza Garrett and Karen Beamon; her grandchildren, Riley and Noah; her mother Linda Garrett-Harris (Ivan); and her siblings, David Garrett, Mike Harris (Angela), Susan Avila and Penny Harris. She is also survived by nieces & nephews.
Charitable contributions may be made to the Wilkerson Funeral Home, Greenville, NC, to assist the family with funeral expenses.
