He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman E Perkins and Rosa D. Perkins; his wife Verna Mae Perkins; his sons, William H. Perkins, Sr. and James R. Perkins; his grandson William H. Perkins, Jr.; his great grandchild Pilar Powell; his great great grandchild Avion Atkins; his brothers, Thurman, Samuel, William and Ernest Perkins; and his stepfather Frank Perkins.
He is survived by: his children, Alice Ebron (Al Michael) of Hampton, Rosa Holloway (Vern) of Savannah, JoAnn Perkins, Derek J. Perkins, Javiaun Perkins and Michael Taylor of Winterville; and his daughter-in-law Marcella Perkins. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
