He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Walton and Ellie Mae Summerlin Lewis; his wife Geneva Flake Lewis; his brothers, Charlie Walton Lewis, Jr. (Bonnie) and Kindred Clifton Lewis; his brothers-in-law, Virgil Jones, James Samuel Flake (J. S.) and Elmer Flake; and his sisters, Lucille Lewis Jones (Pete), Marie Lewis Letchworth (Sam) and Shirley Lewis Jones.
He is survived by: his brothers, Joseph Redden Lewis (Barbara), Robert Daniel Lewis (Betty Ann) and Phillip Wayne Lewis (Carol); and his sisters-in-law, Sue Hedgepeth (Alton), Ann Flake and Inga Flake. He is also survived by his nephews and nieces and their children.
