He was predeceased by: his father Harry Moir Gilbert. He is survived by: his siblings, Jerry Gilbert (Carolyn) of Winston-Salem, NC, Bill Gilbert (Linda) of Richmond, VA, Barbara Homan (Ron) of Richmond, VA and Charlotte Self (David) of Powhatan, VA.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
