She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Pastor Vincent Keith Brown of Edgewater, MD and Pastor Phyllis B. Smotherson of Waldorf, MD.; and her sister Elsie Long of Williamston, NC. She was also cherished by eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
