He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hugh Hardee and Louise Tripp Hardee; his grandfather Leon R. Hardee, Sr.; his brothers, Eugene and Norman (N. C.); his great grandchild Zachary Joyner; his wife Shirley Buck Hardee; his children, Vicki H. Dixon (Randy), Louise H. Wilson (Allan) and Tim Hardee (Caroline); his grandchildren, Farrah D. Mitchum (Todd), Valerie Dixon, Healther G. Booth (Brian), Kristin G. Joyner (Alton), Trey Hardee (Courtney), Tyler Hardee (Megan) and Kendall Hardee (Stacey); and his stepgranddaughter Nikki Huneycutt (Daniel).
