She was predeceased by: her parents, Dalton Troy Jones and Mary Novella Stokes Jones; her husband Curtis A. Mills; her son Jimmy Rogers Nelson; and her siblings, Graham "Buddy" Jones, Reid Jones, Walton "Duke" Jones, Don Jones, D. T. Jones, Rev. Phillip Jones, Marjorie Humphrey, Mary Lou Rhodes, Judy Jones and Mavis Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Randell Nelson (Gin) and Connie Elaine Haddock of Greenville; her stepson Curtis Randell Mills (Diana) of Greenville; her siblings, Shirley Harrison Vernelson (Hilton) of Greenville, Sandra Harris (Bobby) of Greenville and George Jones (Gayle) of Washington; her sisters-in-law, Lila Jones of Greenville, Sharon Jones of Goldsboro and Dessie Jones of North Charleston, SC; her grandchildren, Brandon Potter of Greenville and Jami Haddock Cavenaugh (Josh) of Greenville; and her stepgrandsons, Tony Mills of Greenville and Blake Mills (Michelle) of Greenville. She is also survived by 2 great grandchildren.
