We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2023, at the age of 88, Helen Grimes Baron (Greenville, North Carolina), born in Dover, New Hampshire passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Lucien Baron; her brother George Grimes; and her parents, George Grimes and Juliette Grimes. She is survived by: her daughters, Jane Steele (Greg) of Greenville, NC, Joyce McSweeney of Newbury, NH and Judy Wirtanen of Marshfield, Massachusetts; her grandchildren, Matt Steele (Kirstie), Emily Steele Scott (Molick), Drew Steele, Fionna McSweeney, Felicia McSweeney, Meaghen O'Flaherty (Ryan), Shannen K Damiano (Nick) and Jackson Wirtanen; her great grandchildren, Benjamin Steele and Callan O'Flaherty; her siblings, Bernadine Walsh (William) of Portsmouth, NH and Richard Grimes (Penny) of Dover, NH; and her sister-in-law Midge Grimes. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
