She was predeceased by: her parents, Leary Galloway and Lillian Galloway; her former husband Wilbur Hardee; and her daughter Patricia Vernon Phelps. She is survived by: her nephew Chris Wilder (Georgann); her great-niece Leslie Heath (Jason); her niece Helen; and also, Morgan and Landon.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Black Jack OFWB Church, 2972 Black Jack-Simpson Road, Greenville, NC 27858.
