She was predeceased by: her son Mark Edward Sawyer; and her brothers, Jimmy and Joe Carmady. She is survived by: her daughter Ruth Watson (Emily); her nieces, Sherri Carmady and Wendy Carmady; her grandchildren, Alexis Kelly (Josh), Emily Sawyer, Courtney Conway, Erin Gray, Cameron Warren and Scott Gray; and her great grandchildren, Jackson, Crizma and Silas.
