With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys Staton of Greenville, North Carolina, who passed away on September 8, 2020 at the age of 82. She is survived by: her daughters, Minnie Hudgins (Melvin) and Ruby Bryant (Anthony); and her siblings, Acey Pettaway of Brooklyn, Earl Pettaway of Brooklyn, Kennedy Pettaway Tarboro (Alice), Pearlie Moore and Betty Pender. She is also survived by nieces nephews and friends.
