He is survived by: his wife Margaret Phelps; his children, Donnie Phelps of Walstonburg and Becky Hildebrand (Gregg) of Gilbert, SC; his granddaughters, Maria Phelps of Rocky Mt and Amanda Edwards (George) of Lexington, SC; and his great grandchild Garrett Edwards.
