He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dale and Bernice Dale; and his siblings, Linda Mozingo and Tommy Dale. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Herring Dale; his daughter Tammy Worthington (Phil); his grandsons, Phillip "Budman" Wayne Worthington and Cameron Dale Worthington (Katherine Youmans); and his brother David Dale (Bettie).
