He is survived by: his wife Betsy Boyette (family: Monica, Brandon Whitley); his grandchildren, Dolton Peay, Madison Marrs and Camron Whitley; his siblings, Dennis Carter (Taiya) and Patricia Stokes (Greg); his niece Michelle Mendez (Chris); and his nephews, Christopher Carter and Shane Phillips.
