He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Daniel Coltrain and Vera Pearl Robertson Coltrain; his grandparents, George Eason, Victoria Griffin Roberson, Columbus and Lenora Coltrain; his siblings, A. D. Coltrain, Jr. and Sylvia Jean Coltrain; his nephew Brian Keith Coltrain; and his aunts, Georgia Dean Van Nortwick, Cora Lee Leggett and Sarah Manning.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Coltrain; his sons, Timothy E. Coltrain (Rita) and Christopher T. Coltrain (Tracy); his grandsons, Corey and Chase; his great grandchildren, Waylon and Connor; his stepgranddaughter Samantha Squitieri; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Austin and Savanna; his sisters, Alice P. Coltrain of Williamston and Kay Coffin (Dennis) of Newcastle, IN; and his brother-in-law Gary D. Smith (Patricia).
