He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Morris Alcock; and his brother Carl D. Alcock. He is survived by: his daughters, Paula L. Alcock of Rock Hill, SC and Angela Alcock Smith (David) of Mt. Pleasant, SC.; his grandchildren, Maylon A. Kirby, III, Alexa Mitchum, Frederick Tyler Kirby, William R. Stallings, III, Virginia B. Stallings and Victoria P. Kirby; and his sister Anna Mae Stroh of Maryland.
