He was predeceased by: his parents, E. S. Dail and Louise Dail; his wife Peggy Barber Dail; his daughter Sandra Kay; his daughter-in-law Paula Dail; and his siblings, Carson Dail, Dora Andrews and Deborah Grace Dail.
He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Dail, Brenda Dail Andrews (Dan) and Stacy Dail (Kristy); his grandchildren, Branson Dail, Daniel Andrews (Susan), Cole Dail (Hannah), Dawson Andrews (Taylor), Dail Andrews (Hannah), Hunter Dail, Davis Andrews (Lauren) and Breanna Andrews; his great grandchildren, John Reid Andrews, Harrison Dail Andrews and Caroline Mae Dail; his siblings, Lucille Cannon, Mary Graves, Teresa Tripp (Mickey), Roger Dail (Sue) and Thomas Dail (Jackie); his sisters-in-law, Grey Dail and Janet Beaman (Donald); and his close friends, Mervin Taylor and Emma Vincent. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home & Crematory - Greenville (2100 E 5th St, Greenville, NC 27858). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
